Cristina Zorrilla Speer's Whisper (2015) grows out of a love of drawing and includes details in gold leaf. This painting is acrylic on canvas, 48 by 72 inches. I am trying to imagine all six feet of this and am more than a little awed--this is something like the late Paul Jenkins as filtered through Tintoretto. Ann Landi. |
